Founder of Bharathakshetra School of Dance and Music in India, Shri Jayan is an accomplished musician, dancer, choreographer, and an inspiring teacher of Indian dance and music. Alongside his full-time dedication to the academy in India, he has worked on special commissions for television productions, theatre, and cultural performances. Since 2005, he has served as a resident musician, guest choreographer, dancer, and martial artist with Dance Ihayami, UK, while conducting masterclasses across the world in classical dance, music, and martial arts.

The 27th annual Bharathavarsham 2024 of Bharatakshetra was held on November 1, 2, and 3, at the Vailoppilli Samskrithi Bhavan. The inaugural ceremony was attended by prominent personalities from the fields of art, culture, and politics.
